PRIVATE HOUSE EXTENSION

The client just wanted a lovely large open plan kitchen!! The result was a beautiful open plan kitchen/dining/living space to the rear of the property and a two storey side extension housing a fabulous family bathroom, two new bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom.
NEW BUILD 8 FLATS
MARCH 2018
The site sat between a 6 storey block of flats to the right and a bungalow to the left. The design had to reflect the transition between the bulk and mass of its two neighbours. The flats are two bed units with allocated parking at the front of the site. The planners were insistent that the original high brick wall on the front boundary was retained.
NEW BUILD 4 BED HOUSE
AUGUST 2008
Designed for a small developer as their 'flagship property' this 4 bed house had to be carefully positioned on the site due to issues of large trees covering a large proportion of the site and proximity to a main road on its western boundary. The resulting building is compact and uses a variety of elevational materials to break up the bulk of the design. The window modules are designed to suit the rhythm of the cladding at first floor, which is in turn reflected on the bay window at ground floor

NEW BUILD THREE 3 BED HOUSES
APRIL 2011
Designed on the site a 1960's house, these 3 bed houses were commissioned by a developer. They wanted simple, repetitive designs that would be cost effective to build. Interest was bought into the design by the brick detailing.
